Seaford Rangers Football Club
Your local football community
Ready to be part of something special? Seaford Rangers offers football opportunities for every age and ability, from our enthusiastic Mini Roos to our competitive Senior squads.

Celebrating Our Club History
Seaford Rangers Football Club has grown from humble beginnings in the late 1960s, when local families formed the Port Noarlunga and Seaford Residents Association and raised funds through cake stalls, fetes, door knocking, and concerts to establish a community club and reserve, aptly named Kara Reserve, meaning “happy heart.”
The first matches were played by schoolboys and parents, and by the mid-1970s the club had joined the amateur league, with members fundraising to build the first bar, change rooms, and facilities. In the 1980s, Seaford merged with Noarlunga City, gaining federation status, new members, and stronger teams, while continuing to expand its grounds and social spaces.
The club achieved notable successes throughout the 1990s and 2000s, winning multiple amateur championships, producing award-winning players, and introducing its first women’s team in 2008. Alongside football, Seaford has long fostered a strong social culture with darts, pool, and community events, all supported by volunteers who have dedicated countless hours to its growth.
Today, with thriving junior and senior programs, upgraded facilities, and an active social base, Seaford Rangers stands as a proud, inclusive, and enduring part of the Seaford community.
